In the first few minutes, there’s gross violence as Butthead kicks Beavis in the nuts over and over – to see how long they can do this before he passes out… as a potential science fair project, of course.
Watching the new movie, they don’t look any older, but… in their world, it’s only 1998, and they’ve been zoomed forward in time to 2022 for reasons you’ll discover. Beavis and Butthead Do The Universe is out now on Paramount+, and I remember going to see Beavis and Butthead Do America in 1997 when it reached UK cinemas.
